OnlyFans advertising, and the platforms that will actually take it

Short answer

Google and Meta both prohibit advertising OnlyFans accounts, and attempts to work around it usually end with the ad account terminated. The routes that remain are adult ad networks, Reddit within permitting communities, X with correct labelling, and promotion through aggregator and directory sites rather than paid placement.

Most writing on this subject is produced by people selling a service that depends on the answer being optimistic. The honest version is narrower.

What is prohibited, and how firmly

Google Ads prohibits it. Sexually explicit content and adult subscription services are excluded categories. Accounts that get through are flagged later, and the suspension follows the payment method and business entity rather than the individual campaign.

Meta prohibits it, enforces with automation, and does so unpredictably. Operators report accounts surviving for months and then disappearing with no warning and no effective appeal.

The important detail is that these are category exclusions rather than review judgements. There is no version of the creative that fixes it. Agencies promising Meta reach for this category are either operating on accounts that will be terminated, or describing something other than what they are selling.

What remains

Adult ad networks. ExoClick, TrafficStars, TrafficJunky and the rest will take this traffic without issue. Volume is available, cost is reasonable, and quality varies by placement in the usual way.

X, with correct labelling. The only large mainstream platform that permits it, and consequently crowded.

Reddit, community by community. Hostile to anything that reads as marketing, heavily read by AI engines, and worth genuine participation rather than campaign spend.

Aggregators and directories. Unfashionable and effective. These rank for the discovery queries that paid channels cannot reach.

Creator cross-promotion. Still the highest-converting route in the category, and the one nobody can ban.

What the agencies will not tell you

The paid channels available to this category deliver volume, not intent. Somebody clicking a popunder is a fundamentally different prospect from somebody who searched for a creator by name and found a directory listing.

That difference shows up in retention rather than in signups, which is why so much reported performance in this category looks fine for thirty days and poor at ninety. Judge paid traffic on month-three retention or do not judge it at all.

The channel most of this category ignores

Roughly two and a half thousand people a month search for an agency to sign with, and a short list of names comes back when they ask an AI engine the same question. Almost nobody in this category has any presence in the sources that produce that answer.

For creators that means directory and community presence matters more than ad spend. For agencies it means the recruitment query is winnable right now and will not be in two years.

The creator agencies page sets out the measured demand, and choosing an OnlyFans agency covers the structure from the creator’s side.
